bodies revealed

From October 15th, 2015- June 5th, 2016, the “Bodies Revealed” exhibit will be returning to the Greensboro Science Center. The exhibit has been featured at the Greensboro Science Center once before in 2010-2011 and was a huge success. This “fascinating and real” exhibit showcases real human bodies that have been dissected and preserved. “Bodies Revealed” will allow people to see themselves in a way they never have before, developing a whole new appreciation for the human body.

The exhibit will be open from 9 AM – 5 PM daily starting on October 15th, with the last entry to the exhibit at 4 PM each day. Tickets will go on sale September 10th, and the ticket prices will include everything in the Science Center (aquarium, museum and zoo) along with the “Bodies Revealed” exhibit.

The exhibit is aimed for all ages, allowing everyone to see the structure and function of their bodies in a completely new and in-depth way. The exhibit provides an unique learning experience that is typically only available to medical professionals. There will be 9 human bodies and 200 organs featured in the exhibit. Take a closer look into what truly makes up our being and come visit the “Bodies Revealed” exhibit this fall!

The Greensboro Science Center will be hosting an educator’s preview night on October 15th, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. Come on out to see how you can plan your next field trip to teach your students at the “Bodies Revealed” exhibit.

The exhibit is still in need of volunteers. For more information on hours, meeting and event opportunities, teaching opportunities, volunteering, and general information on the exhibit please visit the “Bodies Revealed” feature on the Greensboro Science Center website.

Stay tuned for more information as we come closer to the opening day of the exhibit!
